Vegas sure loves us some Lea. The executive director of Golden Rainbow, Lea Carrasco-Zanini, has been living in Vegas for 25 years. Over the course of her time here, she has become an integral part of the LGBT scene and we are all lucky and proud to have her.

Lea has been involved with Golden Rainbow for 6 years now and she fully believes and dedicates her time and resources to the LGBT community. Her overall focus is simple: enhance the community and in turn, enhance her life and the lives of those around her. She supports the mission that CRUSH undertakes because she sees the need for action in the LGBT community.

ÒWe are in a critical time where basic rights are finally being talked about in a serious way for the LGBT community,Ó says Lea, but also goes on to playfully add ÒI think what Crush is doing for the LGBT community is great! Who doesnÕt want to be healthy, live longer and feel hotter?Ó

YouÕve got to strike while the iron is hot and while basic rights are all encompassing, change is born from within. Lea knows that positive change for the community requires positive lifestyles and what better way to start yourself down that path than taking care of your body and leading a smokefree lifestyle?
